SHANGHAI — Shanghai Disney Resort announced on Monday it would reopen a select range of shopping, dining and recreational options around the facility, while the Disneyland park will remain closed.
The partial resumption marked “the first step of a phased reopening” since the resort temporarily closed down in Jan 25 to prevent the further spread of the novel coronavirus outbreak.
Each of these locations will operate under limited capacity and reduced hours of operation. Timetables are available on the resort’s website and official WeChat account.
For instance, the Disneytown will operate between 11 am and 7 pm on Monday, while the Wishing Star park will open from 10 am to 5 pm on the same day.
In accordance with relevant regulations, the company requires every guest entering Shanghai Disney Resort to undergo temperature screening procedures upon their arrival and present their Health QR Code when entering dining venues. Visitors are also required to wear a mask during their entire trip.
