MANILA, Philippines — One of the 10 individuals who tested positive for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the country is a resident of Pasig City, Mayor Vico Sotto confirmed Monday.

“As announced by the DOH, there is a COVID-19 patient (not a Pasig resident) currently confined in Medical City-Pasig. There is also a COVID-19 patient who is a Pasig resident, but is currently confined in a private hospital outside of Pasig,” the mayor wrote in a Facebook post.

Both patients are part of the four latest COVID-19 cases affirmed by the Department of Health (DOH) late Sunday night. To date, the total number of COVID-19 infected persons in the country is 10.
