Wanted rapist in Batangas falls in Quezon
LUCENA CITY – A wanted rapist who has been in hiding for 15 years was caught in Candelaria town in Quezon province on Monday (March 9).
Lt. Col. Jezreel Calderon, Candelaria police chief, identified the arrested fugitive as Isidro Velasquez, 45, who was second on the list of wanted criminals in Malvar, Batangas.
Reports said Valasquez was caught in his safehouse at the village of Pahinga Sur.
Velasquez is facing a rape case at the Regional Trial Court in Tanauan City since May 2005.
