MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 4.4 earthquake hit Dolores, Eastern Samar on Monday morning.
Information from the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) showed the earthquake, which struck at 7:39 a.m., was located at 49 kilometers southeast of Dolores town.
It had a depth of focus of 5 kilometers and was of tectonic origin.
It was felt at Intensity II in Borongan City and Intensity I in Palo, Leyte.
