Technologies 2020 kicks off today

MANILA, Philippines — A technology and marketing firm is kicking off a two-day event starting today, March 9, to bridge local government units with technology and security providers and find ways to make developing communities “more desirable areas for living and investment.”

Strategist.ph said that “Technologies 2020: Protect, Prevent, Promote,” would present technology solutions to government response to natural disasters, public health and safety and other problems.

The event, now ongoing at Marriott Hotel in Pasay City, would also feature “new and sustainable means” in promoting the latest destinations for leisure and tourism in the provinces.
