Cops collar 3 suspects in Nueva Ecija drugbusts

JAEN, Nueva Ecija, Philippines — Three drug suspects were nabbed in two police operations conducted on Friday night, March 6,  here, police said.

Christopher dela Cruz, 43, sold a sachet of crystal meth, locally known as shabu, to an undercover agent, and was caught with four more sachets at 4:40 p.m. in Barangay Sapang, said Maj. Erwin Ferry, chief of the Jaen Municipal Police Station.

At 7:30 p.m., Mario Jalova, 42, and Michael Reyes, 40, a welder from San Isidro town were arrested for drug trafficking. They were caught in possession of five sachets of shabu.
