Gamboa out of hospital after chopper crash in Laguna

MANILA, Philippines — Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Gen. Archie Gamboa was discharged from hospital on Friday afternoon, a day after a helicopter that carried him and seven others, crashed in San Pedro, Laguna.

This was confirmed by Maj. Gen. Benigno Durana Jr., acting spokesperson of the PNP and head of the Directorate for Police Community Relations.

Meanwhile, Brig. Gen. Bernard Banac, PNP spokesperson, “intends to be released tomorrow upon the approval of his doctor,” according to Durana.
