Virus fears keep OFWs away from Comelec registration

With the coronavirus disease now a global problem, fewer Filipinos have been registering abroad for the overseas absentee voting in the 2022 national and local elections, Commission on Elections (Comelec) Commissioner Rowena Guanzon said on Thursday.

Filipinos in South Korea, for instance, “are not going out of their houses anymore,’’ Guanzon said. —Jerome Aning
