OLONGAPO CITY –– Six drug suspects were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Sta. Rita here on Tuesday, police said.
Investigators identified the suspects as Maria Ligaya Lewis, Sonny Boy Gayanes, Farley James Mortilla, Julius Cuyugan, Michael Billingsley, and Jaymielyn Tapia.
Lewis is in the city’s drug watchlist, police said.
Confiscated from the suspects were plastic sachets of suspected “shabu” (crystal meth) weighing 2.3 grams with an estimated street value of P5,000 and the marked money.
In nearby Subic town, Zambales province, police arrested Dante Taralos, 38, during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Calapacuan on Tuesday.
Confiscated from him were 12 sachets of suspected shabu and the marked money.
The suspects are now in the custody of police and will face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
