Drug gang ‘member’ nabbed in Laguna
SAN PEDRO CITY –– An alleged member of a drug syndicate in Laguna province was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Lumban town on Wednesday morning.
A report from Laguna police chief Col. Serafin Petalio II, identified the suspect as Romeo Flores, 39.
Flores was a member of the Manambit drug group that primarily operated in the fourth district of the province, he said.
Flores also ranked among the top police targets for illegal drug trafficking in the province.
Petalio said members of the Laguna police intelligence group went undercover for the sting operation at the suspect’s home in Barangay Maytalang around 1:30 a.m.
Police recovered from the suspect at least six grams of suspected shabu (crystal meth) worth P41,0000.
