Ex-US Army soldier found dead inside home in Northern Samar

ORMOC CITY –– A retired US Army soldier was found dead inside his residence about 10:40 a.m. on Tuesday, March 3, in Barangay Makiwalo, Mondragon town, Northern Samar.

Based on the police investigation, Ronald Hayward, 54, argued with his live-in partner before he ingested assorted medicines, said Police Lieutenant Alkheen Jupurie, chief of the Mondragon Police Station.

A post-mortem examination is being conducted to determine the cause of Hayward’s death.
