17 of 26 Koreans quarantined in Cebu have left PH, says DOH-7
CEBU CITY –– At least 17 of the 26 Korean nationals, who were quarantined in Cebu, have left the country, the Department of Health in Central Visayas (DOH-7) said on Monday.
Eight of the Koreans chose to finish the 14-day mandatory quarantine imposed by Cebu province.
DOH-7 Director Jaime Bernadas said two have families in Cebu, while six wanted to stay longer in Cebu for a vacation.
One of the Koreans went to Central Luzon.
“Only eight intend to finish the 14 days and then they also intend to stay longer, ” said Bernadas.
He said the ones who left Cebu have taken separate flights over the weekend. The last batch flew out of Cebu on Monday morning.
