7 foreigners face deportation

MANILA, Philippines — The Bureau of Immigration (BI) is set to deport seven foreign nationals caught illegally working at a construction site in Angeles City, Pampanga.

BI Intelligence Division Chief Fortunato Manahan, in a report to Commissioner Jaime Morente, bared the recent arrest of five Koreans and two Vietnamese, who were working without permits as construction workers in Clark Sharp Hills, Angeles City, Pampanga.

The foreigners were identified as Park Sang Soon, 46; Yoo Ji Young, 44; Nam Juhyun, 40; Kim Cha Sig, 48; Cheoi Young Chun, 44, all Korean nationals; and Vuong Sy Hung, 31; and Vuong Dac Hai, both Vietnamese nationals.

They were caught in the act of working as laborers at a construction site in the area, Manahan said.
