Mar. 1 to 2: La Union Foundation Anniversary

The province of La Union celebrates its 170th founding anniversary with the theme, “La Union 2020: Eyeing Transformation, Focusing on Love.”

The provincial government will provide a number of free services such as medical consultation, legal assistance, job fair, storytelling activities and giveaway of munggo seeds and red rice.

The event also features an agri-tourism fair village, where local products such as sugarcane wine, honey, vinegar and dried fish are sold.

Mar. 1 to 4: Pasundayag Festival

Pasundayag, which means show or presentation in Ilonggo, is an annual thanksgiving event in Banga, South Cotabato province. Activities include descendants day, drumline competition, bloodletting activity, field demonstration, and street party.

Mar. 1 to 11: Musikahan Festival

A showcase of Filipino talent and the arts and culture of Tagum City in Davao del Norte province.

The city also celebrates its 22nd Araw ng Tagum with activities such as the Search for Mutya ng Tagum City and State of the City Address.

Other highlights of the festival are barangay musikahan, himig handog chorale competition and “awitang tagumpay.”
