Fire in Parañaque residential area reaches Task Force Alpha

MANILA, Philippines — A fire on a residential area in Parañaque City on Friday night is now at Task Force Alpha, Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said.

In a phone interview, an official from BFP’s Public Information Office disclosed that the blaze that struck houses along Reyes Street, Fourth Estate in Barangay San Antonio was at first alarm at 5:43 p.m.


The conflagration at the city was raised to Task Force Alpha after more than 30 minutes. Task Force Alpha indicates that 16 fire trucks are needed to respond to the fire.

BFP said the fire was declared out at 8:29 p.m.


Fire investigators have yet to determine the cause of the fire and the cost of damage.
