Eliminate overregulation, Duterte tells gov’t agencies

President Rodrigo Duterte wants excessive regulation and redundant processes to be trimmed and done away.

Under Administrative Order No. 23, Mr. Duterte asked government agencies to “eliminate overregulation” and “retain only the steps, procedures and requirements” needed to fulfill their legal mandates and policy objectives. —Julie M. Aurelio
