Luzon named 2nd most popular trending destination

With its diverse tourist attractions, Luzon placed second in a popular United States-based online travel company’s list of 25 trending destinations of the world for 2020.

TripAdvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best awards for trending destinations cited the country’s largest island for its man-made and natural attractions, and said that travelers were flocking to Luzon “to experience one of the more unique locations in the world.”

The travel site recommended 2,875 places to visit in Luzon, with the National Museum, Mt. Pulag National Park and Fort Santiago topping the bill. Kochi in Kerala state, India, ranked first, while Cebu was 24th on the list. —Jerome Aning
