MANILA, Philippines — Forty-seven more patients were discharged from hospitals after testing negative for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), figures from Department of Health (DOH) showed Thursday.
Based on DOH’s daily tracker, as of 12 noon, the number of patients who tested negative for the deadly virus rose from 501 to 548.
Meanwhile, number of persons checked for COVID-19 who remained isolated in hospitals decreased from 101 to 64.

Calabarzon – 1 admitted, 78 discharged
Central Visayas – 1 admitted, 60 discharged, 1 confirmed case
Central Luzon – 1 admitted, 61 discharged
Western Visayas – 0 admitted, 38 discharged
Cagayan Valley – 1 admitted, 35 discharged
Cordillera Administrative Region – 2 admitted, 26 discharged
Davao Region – 0 admitted, 23 discharged
Eastern Visayas – 0 admitted, 18 discharged
Northern Mindanao – 1 admitted, 17 discharged
Mimaropa – 0 admitted, 15 discharged
Bicol region – 0 admitted, 13 discharged
Ilocos region – 1 admitted, 11 discharged
Soccsksargen – 1 admitted, 2 discharged
Caraga – 0 admitted, 3 discharged

The Philippines has three confirmed cases, which involved Chinese nationals. Globally, there are more than 81,000 individuals, mostly from mainland China, who contracted the deadly virus.
