MANILA, Philippines — The Manila Police District (MPD) will file an additional robbery with homicide case against the man who robbed and shot a noodle vendor, who already died in the hospital on Wednesday.

In a press conference at Ermita police station, MPD chief Bernabe Balba said they are currently arranging with the court the filing of the additional case against Alexander Ogdamina, who was arrested a day after noodle vendor Samson Bautista was shot on February 18. Ogdamina is now detained at the MPD Headquarters.

Bautista was hospitalized for eight days after being shot at close range by Ogdamina.
