6 shabu sachets, gun seized from CamNorte town drug suspect

LEGAZPI CITY — Authorities arrested a suspected pusher in the town of Talisay, Camarines Norte on Monday (Feb. 24) and seized an unlicensed gun and drugs.

Col. Marlon Tejada, Camarines Norte police chief, identified the suspect as Philip Cabarte, 31, of Daet town.

Seized from Cabarte was a .38 caliber revolver with bullets and six sachets of suspected shabu or meth.

Capt. Leny Encinas, chief of Talisay police, said Cabarle had been arrested previously and was on Daet’s drug watch list.

Cabarte was included now on the list of suspects in Talisay, said Ecninas.
