Cool weather until mid-March
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) on Friday said the country would likely enjoy cool weather until mid-March.
“We are still in the amihan season, and we expect its termination in the middle of next month,” said Ana Clauren, weather monitoring specialist.
On Friday, the weather bureau recorded the lowest recorded temperature in Baguio since the start of the amihan season in October.
Temperature in the summer capital dropped to 9.4 degrees Celsius on Friday morning, Clauren said. —PATRICIA DENISE M. CHIU
