LEGAZPI CITY –– Three fishermen were killed after dynamite exploded in the seawaters off Balud town in Masbate province on Tuesday night.
Major Maria Luisa Calubaquib, spokesperson of the Bicol police, said Arthur Villaruel, Lito Salvana, Rosel Reyes, and two others were on board a boat trying to catch fish off Barangay Danao, when unidentified men lobbed dynamite, killing the three instantly around 9 p.m.
Their two other companions were unharmed.
Police were still pursuing the assailants.
