Soldier hurt, wife dead after motorycle slides off Isabela road

GAMU, Isabela–An Army soldier was wounded while his wife died when the motorcycle they were riding slid off the road in Barangay Upi here on Sunday (Feb. 16), police said.

Jzel Agustin, 30, died while being taken to Isabela Doctors General Hospital here around 10 p.m., said Capt. Frances Littaua, Isabela police spokesperson.

Her common-law husband, Private Mark Lan-lan Tamayo, of the Army’s 5th Infantry Division, suffered injuries.

Tamayo, who was driving, lost control of the vehicle, throwing them onto the pavement.
