Six class one vehicles and a bus were involved in the collision, he added.

According to the initial investigation, one motorist suddenly slowed down and hit the breaks, which caused the other vehicles in front to crash.

Seven people sustained minor injuries, but only four of them were treated to the hospital. The other three, Ignacio said, signed a waiver agreeing that they would not be brought.

Ignacio said that motorists should expect heavy traffic along NLEX due to the incident.
