MANILA, Philippines — The MRT-3 on Sunday implemented provisional service from Shaw Boulevard to Taft due to a broken part of its train track.
In an advisory, the management of MRT-3 that at 8:17 a.m., it had started the implementation of the provisional service.
The management added that a broken stretcher bar was discovered at the North Avenue Station turnback.
“Sumitomo-Mitsubishi Heavy-TESP team is now on site,” the MRT-3 management said.
As of 8:56 a.m., the MRT-3 said the stretcher bar has already been replaced. Retightening and calibration works are currently ongoing, the management added.
“Thank you, and we are sorry for the inconvenience,” the management expressed.
