4 suspected drug pushers arrested in Quezon

LUCENA CITY – Four suspected drug pushers were arrested in police operations in Lucena City, Lucban and Candelaria towns in Quezon province on Saturday and Sunday, police said.

Reports from Quezon police said tricycle driver Job Racelis, 40, was collared after he sold “shabu” (crystal meth) during a drug deal in Barangay (village) Ayuti in Lucban around 12:45 a.m. Sunday.

Authorities seized P31,915 worth of shabu based on the prevailing price of P6,500 per gram at the local market.

In Candelaria town, Margarita Bantilan, 40, and her partner, Lea Fuentes, 30, were also collared in another narcotic sting in Barangay Malabanban Norte around 5 p.m. Saturday. The suspects yielded P3,808 worth of meth.

In Lucena City, Jezril Pantoja, 20, was caught carrying a sachet of marijuana after he was flagged down on his motorcycle in a police checkpoint along the diversion road in Barangay Domoit around 2:30 p.m., also Saturday.
