09:23 AM January 05, 2012

A TOTAL of 60 industry partners, scholarship grantors and partner schools of the Center for Industrial Technology and Enterprise (CITE) celebrated Christmas in a gathering at Talamban Leisure Center last Dec. 16.

The annual gathering, which was also participated by top officials of Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (Tesda), aimed to solidify the ties between CITE and its partners in serving the less-privileged youth and their families.

CITE also thanked the partners for supporting the corporate and social undertakings of the school.

During the gathering, Tesda Provincial Director Buenafe Sta. Rita announced the latest developments in Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and how industry-school partnerships would position in the K+12 setup.

CITE also led a ceremonial toast that capped the event. The gathering was hosted by CITE’s Industry Linkage Unit, which is the placement arm of the school.
