Lollipops using condom wrapper recalled

/ 05:20 AM February 14, 2020

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has ordered the recall of a brand of lollipops using condom foil packs as wrapper.

In an advisory, the FDA said Dipzy Cornpop Lollipop (in blue and red colors), manufactured by MM Lucky Multisales Corporation, is not authorized to sell its products in the market.

The wrapper of the lollipop, when inspected, reveals the logo of Durex, a condom brand.

The FDA said the material used as food product wrapper is different from that used in non-food packaging. —Tina G. Santos
