TUBA, Benguet –– Three decomposing bodies were found in separate locations here in the last two weeks, police said.
On Wednesday, one of the bodies was discovered in a 15-meter ravine along the newly opened San Pascual-Nangalisan road in Sitio Ana-aw of Barangay San Pascual here.
Investigators have yet to identify the body, which was in the early stage of decomposition.
Police described it as a male with a gray sweatshirt and denim jeans. His head was wrapped in packaging tape.
On Tuesday, the body of a certain Christian “Sadeek” Del Prado Alvar, 38, was found at the upper riverbank of the Bued River in Camp 3 here.
Police said Alvar, who was identified by his relatives, was a suspected illegal drug trader. He was also linked to car theft, murder, and kidnap-for-ransom cases.
The third body was found on Jan. 31 and was later identified as Virginia Sirote, a resident of Mangaldan, Pangasinan. She was found at the riverbank of Bued River in Klondykes, Camp 1 here.
