3 decomposing bodies recovered in Benguet
TUBA, Benguet –– Three decomposing bodies were found in separate locations here in the last two weeks, police said.
On Wednesday, one of the bodies was discovered in a 15-meter ravine along the newly opened San Pascual-Nangalisan road in Sitio Ana-aw of Barangay San Pascual here.
Investigators have yet to identify the body, which was in the early stage of decomposition.
Police described it as a male with a gray sweatshirt and denim jeans. His head was wrapped in packaging tape.
On Tuesday, the body of a certain Christian “Sadeek” Del Prado Alvar, 38, was found at the upper riverbank of the Bued River in Camp 3 here.
Police said Alvar, who was identified by his relatives, was a suspected illegal drug trader. He was also linked to car theft, murder, and kidnap-for-ransom cases.
Article continues after this advertisementThe third body was found on Jan. 31 and was later identified as Virginia Sirote, a resident of Mangaldan, Pangasinan. She was found at the riverbank of Bued River in Klondykes, Camp 1 here.
