STL bet collector slain in Camarines Norte

LEGAZPI CITY –– A bet collector of Small Town Lottery was shot and killed by motorcycle-riding gunmen in Sta. Elena town in Camarines Norte province on Wednesday evening.

Major Elizaldy Calingacion, Sta. Elena police chief, said while on his way home on board a motorcycle, Marino Rosales, 52, was shot by two unidentified men in Barangay Maulawin around 10:30 p.m.


Calingacion said they have yet to identify the motive behind the incident.

“He was able to remit his collection, his bag and money were missing but we are also looking into other possible motives,” he said.
