MANILA, Philippines — Students of Palawan State University (PSU) were given a treat of sorts after they were allowed to wear the colors symbolizing their love status on Valentine’s Day.
The university issued a memorandum in its Facebook page Thursday showing the list of colors that students may wear on V-Day, with corresponding romantic status.
“In line with the Valentine’s Day celebration, please be informed that the students are allowed to wear their civilian attire on February 14, 2020, Friday embodying various meanings based on the color of their attires,” read the memorandum dated Feb. 11.
“Red – In a relationship; Blue – Single; Black – It’s Complicated; Green – Friendzoned & Hoping; Gray – Study first,” it added.
No other colors were allowed except for these, the university administrators said. Students must likewise observe the proper dress code.
The school, however, said that students may still opt to wear their school uniforms.
A similar memorandum was issued by Gumaca town in Quezon province, asking its employees to wear color-coded clothing depending on their love status.
