Student busted for P1.2M marijuana in QC

MANILA, Philippines – Around 10 kilos of marijuana bricks worth P1.2 million were seized from a student in Cubao, Quezon City early Thursday morning.

Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and police operatives arrested Karlo Jose Pio Ricafrente, 24, at a transport terminal at around 5:40 a.m.

The suspect is being held at the PDEA office as he faces charges of violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
