/ 05:14 AM February 13, 2020

The Commission on Higher Education (CHEd) has advised students, faculty and staff from higher education institutions to stop reading, liking and sharing fake news as well as unverified and misleading information from social media platforms regarding the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

It issued its own guidelines for the prevention, control and mitigation of COVID-19 and encouraged campuses to create a “trustworthy portal of information.”
