The woman said her condition worsened on Feb. 8, the day she was to return to Taiwan, the doctor said.

While the patient was already manifesting the symptoms, the doctors decided to still admit her.

The doctor said the woman was immediately isolated in the hospital and was considered a PUI, so she would not expose herself to the public.
