MANILA, Philippines — No weather disturbance would affect the Philippines for the next three to five days this week, the state weather bureau said Tuesday.
But weather specialist Ariel Rojas of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said the northeast monsoon, or amihan, is still affecting the country which would bring cloudy skies with rains in some areas.
In its 4 p.m. live weather update, Pagasa said cloudy skies with light rains would persist in Cagayan Valley, Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Caraga, Aurora, Quezon and Davao Region due to the northeast monsoon.
Metro Manila and the rest of the Philippines would experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains caused by amihan.
Pagasa recorded the lowest minimum temperature in Tuba, Benguet which is at 8.2°C, as of 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
