Mother of Bulacan Gov. Fernando passes away

GUIGUINTO, Bulacan — The mother of Gov. Daniel Fernando died on Tuesday due to a lingering ailment.

Luningning Fernando Ramirez, 87, a widow, died in a hospital in Pampanga, people close to the family said.

She is survived by her six children.

Mrs. Ramirez’s remains will be brought home to Barangay Sta. Rita here./lzb
