3 suspected drug pushers fall in Camarines Sur buy-bust

LEGAZPI CITY — Three suspected drug pushers were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Bula town in Camarines Sur on Tuesday night.

Colonel Roderico Roy Jr., director of Camarines Sur police, said the anti-illegal drug operatives arrested Aileen Volante, 42; her brother Rey Niebres, 29; and Gemar Reforsado, 27, in Barangay Ombao Heights at 11:20 p.m.

Arnel Consorte, another suspected drug pusher, escaped.

Confiscated from the three suspects were 23 plastic sachets of suspected “shabu” (crystal meth) with an estimated value of P50,000.

Authorities also seized an air rifle, 22 live ammunition for caliber 45, a mini digital weighing scale, and P22,000 cash.
