5 suspects nabbed, P1.3-M drugs seized in Makati anti-drug ops

MANILA, Philippines — Five suspected drug pushers were arrested and some P1.3 million worth of illegal drugs were seized by the police during an anti-drug operation in Makati City early Tuesday.

Police identified those arrested in the anti-drug operation in Barangay Palanan as Ronald James Sotolombo, 30; Renato Apolinario, 29; Jenn Estares, 18; Samantha Maliwat, 18; and Shannel Dilagan, 28.


Police said that prior to the arrest of the five suspects, another suspect, a certain Joshua Geronimo, was also arrested.

Seized from the suspects were one large pack of shabu weighing about 100 grams, two medium-sized packs of shabu weighing some 50 grams,  four tablets of suspected ecstasy, one black weighing scale, and P16,000 in cash.


The confiscated have an estimated combined street value of about P1.4 million, police said.
