A man created a fake search warrant and donned a fake police badge in Oregon, USA, to seize illegal drugs from a dealer, who apparently turned out to be his former source.
Jordan Fleming, 29, was arrested last Sunday, Jan. 26, after his previous dealer, a woman whose name was withheld, reported him to the real cops, as per local paper The Register-Guard on Jan. 30.
Fleming presented his bogus police document to the woman’s house last December, and was able to get away with cash and drugs, which included methamphetamine and heroin.
The woman knew Fleming from when he allegedly bought drugs from her before, as per report.
Although the search warrant appeared to be obviously fake, Springfield police Sgt. Dave Lewis was quoted as saying that it “didn’t look too bad.”
Fleming was charged with second-degree robbery, simulating a legal process, unlawful possession of heroin, possession of false law-enforcement identification and impersonating a police officer, according to the report. Ian Biong /ra
