LIST: DPWH to conduct weekend road reblocking

MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is set to conduct reblocking and repairs on several roads in Metro Manila this weekend.

The road reblocking, DPWH said, will begin on Friday, January 31 at 11 p.m. until February 3.

The road reblocking will cover the following:

SOUTHBOUND LANE:

A. Bonifacio Ave. (SB) 7th Avenue to Sgt. Rivera St. (2nd lane from sidewalk)
EDSA Bulacan St. to West Ave. (1st lane from sidewalk)
EDSA approach BP Tuazon flyover to approach A. Boni Serrano flyover (2nd lane from MRT Line)

EASTBOUND LANE

General Luis St. Rebisco Road to Samote St.
Elliptical Road from Kalayaan Ave to Maharlika St. (7th lane from outer sidewalk)

NORTHBOUND LANE

EDSA QC after Aurora Blvd. to New York St. (3rd lane from sidewalk)
Katipunan Ave./C5 after UP Town Center (3rd lane from the center island)

DPWH advised motorists to avoid the mentioned roads to avoid inconvenience.

“All affected roads will be fully passable by 5 a.m. on Monday, February 3,” DPWH said.
