MANILA, Philippines—The northeast monsoon or amihan will continue to bring cloudy skies with light rains over parts of Luzon in the next 24 hours, the weather state bureau said Wednesday.

In its 24-hour public weather forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Ilocos Region, the Cordillera Administrative Region, and Cagayan Valley would experience cloudy skies with light rains on due to Amihan.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains also due to Amihan.

Visayas and Mindanao, meanwhile, are seen to experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms. Pagasa warned residents in the area of possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
