2 drug suspects killed in Cavite bust

MANILA, Philippines — Two suspected drug pushers were killed in a buy-bust operation in Dasmariñas, Cavite late night Monday.

Police said the still-unidentified suspects opened fire at the undercover police officers during the bust, triggering a shootout at about 11:30 p.m. at Brgy. Burol-Main.

The undercover officers then returned fire, killing the two suspects immediately.

Taken from the suspects were two caliber .38 revolvers, a sachet of suspected shabu, and the P700 marked cash used in the bust.
