4 drug suspects fall in Camarines operations

LEGAZPI CITY – Police arrested four drug suspects in separate operations from Sunday night to Monday morning in Camarines Sur and Camarines Norte.

The drug operations yielded P340,000 worth of suspected “shabu” (crystal meth) in several small sachets, according to Police Maj. Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol regional police spokesperson.

Julie Vasquez, 38, and Renato Casim, 30 were arrested after selling shabu to an undercover police officer at around 8 p.m. Sunday in Barangay (village) San Jose in Iriga City, Camarines Sur.

Seized from the suspects were 50 grams of shabu.

In Naga City, police operatives collared Jomar Siguenza, 30, while selling a sachet of shabu in a drug operation in Barangay Dayangdang at around 2:05 a.m. Monday.

In Basud, Camarines Norte, Freddie Fernandez, 40,  was caught selling five sachets of shabu in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Matnog at around 1:30 a.m. Monday.
