3 cops relieved for playing golf on work hours
Philippine National Police chief Archie Gamboa announced on Thursday the relief of three Central Visayas police officers for playing golf on weekdays in defiance of his order.
Relieved were police comptroller Col. Dennis Artil, finance officer Lt. Col. Richard Bad-ang, and drug enforcement group chief Lt. Col. Glenn Mayam.

Artil lost his post, while Bad-ang and Mayam risked their chances of getting promoted to full colonel over their apparent love of the game. —Jeannette I. Andrade
