MANILA, Philippines—The northeast monsoon or “Amihan” will bring cloudy skies and rain across the country on Thursday, the weather state bureau reported.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Eastern Visayas, Caraga, Davao Oriental, Davao de Oro, and Davao del Norte would experience cloudy skies with scattered light rains in the next 24 hours due to Amihan.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country are expected to experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rain also due to Amihan.

Pagasa also reported that temperature in Metro Manila reached as low as 19.9°C on Wednesday morning. This was reportedly the coldest temperature since the start of the Amihan season in October 2019.
