Top brass of the Philippine National Police (PNP): Director General Lt. Gen. Archie Gamboa, Lt. Gen. Camilo Cascolan and Maj. Gen. Guillermo Lorenzo Eleazar
MANILA, Philippines — Lt. Gen. Camilo Cascolan has been designated the new deputy chief for administration of the Philippine National Police (PNP) following the national police force’s reorganization.
In a statement, PNP Brig. Gen. Bernard Banac said PNP chief Gen. Archie Gamboa designated Cascolan, formerly assigned as PNP deputy chief of operations, to be the second-in-command of PNP.
Gamboa also designated Lt. Gen. Guillermo Eleazar as PNP deputy chief for operations, which is third in command in the nation’s police force.
Banac said Eleazar will also function as officer-in-charge of chief of the PNP Directorial Staff.
Brig. Gen. Rex Dela Rosa, former Deputy Regional Director for Administration (DRDA) of Police Regional Office 12, was appointed as Central Luzon police chief.
Gamboa also assigned these police officers:
Col. Nickson Muksan designated as Deputy Director of PNP Training Service
Col Vincent Calanoga assigned as Assistant Chief of PNP Human Rights Affairs Office
Col. Ferlu Silvio designated as Foreign Liaison Division of PNP Directorate for Intelligence
Gamboa’s latest reshuffle of PNP posts was part of “reformation of the organization based on the evaluation of their efficiency of performance,” Banac said.
