Bicol students take exam for SM scholarship

LEGAZPI CITY –– Hundreds of students from different provinces in Bicol trooped to two private schools to take an exam for a possible college scholarship sponsored by the SM Foundation.
Claire Hariri, information officer of SM Legazpi, said students from Naga City, Camarines Sur; Daet, Camarines Norte; Sorsogon and Legazpi City, took the online examinations at the University of Nueva Caceres in Naga City and Divine Word College of Legazpi in Legazpi City on Wednesday.
“The screening of applicants for the SM College Scholarship SY 2020-2021 is exclusively for indigents but qualified and deserving,” Hariri said.
She said those who qualify would get a full college scholarship and allowance, plus a chance to work at SM.
