Driver dies, back-rider hurt when his motorcycle hits a car in Quezon

LUCENA CITY –– A motorcycle driver died, while his back-rider was injured when a car hit his motorcycle along the Maharlika Highway in Calauag town in Quezon province early Wednesday.

A report from the Calauag police identified the fatality as Christian Cemanes, a resident of Barangay Anahawan in the said town.

The report said Cemanes hit a Toyota Avanza being driven by Roberto Yago in a section of the highway in Barangay Sumilang at 12:15 a.m.

Cemanes and his back-rider Ryan Andes suffered head and body injuries.
