/ 07:37 AM June 05, 2011

EVERYTHING comes to a hilt today in the M. Lhuillier Kwarta Padala-Cebu Basketball Association (CBA) as the deciding Game 3 of the best-of-three finals between the Ave Maria Sanctuary and Park and the Salazar Colleges of Science and Institute of Technology (SCSIT) Skyblazers gets underway at the Cordova Sports Complex.

Organizers of the tournament moved the game to Cordova with the support of Mayor Addy Sitoy and sports chairman, MM Sitoy. Gametime is set at 7:30 p.m.

The Skyblazers forged a winner-take-all Game 3 with a resounding 88-70 win in Game 2 last Thursday.

Meanwhile, the semifinal cast in the Jr. CBA is finally complete after Herea Hair Salon edged the Athletes for Christ in Excellent Service, 79-66, in the final day of the elimination round last Friday at the Cebu Eastern College (CEC) gym.

The win forged a five-way tie for second place as five teams shared similar 4-3 (win-loss) records at the end of the eliminations. The Aces, Herea, Ave Maria, Aerophone and Pier One all had the same records but in the end, it was Herea, Ave Maria and Aerophone that advanced by way of their supreme quotients./Correspondent Jonas Panerio
